Founder's Note

From boardrooms
to the breath.

Nikita's path began in the corporate world — years spent inside the pace of modern work before the mat became a quieter counterweight to it.

Her 500-hour teacher training in Rishikesh shaped the practice you find here today: unhurried, intelligent, and rooted in what the body actually needs.

Philosophy

How Vrnda
approaches wellness.

An integrated, therapeutic practice — where movement, nourishment, and nervous system care are treated as one system, not five separate services.

Pillar i

Holistic in method

Body, breath, and mind aren't addressed in isolation. Every session works with the whole person — the physiology beneath the posture, the emotion beneath the breath.

Pillar ii

Ayurveda-inspired

Ancient constitutional wisdom, applied practically. Your dosha shapes how you eat, move, and rest — so the practice adjusts to fit your specific rhythm, not a general template.

Pillar iii

Nervous system regulation

Stress lives in the body long before it registers in the mind. Breathwork, sound, and slow movement are used deliberately to bring the system back to baseline.

Pillar iv

Mindful movement

Asana practised with attention rather than ambition. Alignment, breath, and awareness — never performance, never pressure.

Pillar v

Sustainable well-being

Progress measured in months, not sessions. The aim is a practice you can carry for decades — one that fits the life you actually lead.

Pillar vi

Therapeutic intent

PCOS, thyroid, anxiety, burnout — the practice is shaped around specific conditions, working alongside (never in place of) medical care.

The Vrnda Difference

Why Vrnda
feels different.

Six deliberate choices that shape every session — from batch size to the depth of attention you receive.

Small, intentional batches

Numbers are capped by design. Every student is seen, adjusted, and known — the opposite of a crowded class.

Personal attention

Your posture, your pace, your questions. The teaching bends to fit the practitioner, not the other way around.

Therapeutic approach

Practice designed around specific conditions — hormonal, digestive, stress-related — with a slow, restorative intent throughout.

Quality over quantity

Fewer classes, better classes. The offering stays deliberately narrow so each session receives the preparation it deserves.

Ayurveda-inspired nourishment

Food guidance rooted in your constitution — not a diet plan, not a restriction list. A way of eating you can actually keep.

Personalised guidance

One-on-one intake before every offering. What you receive is built for the body and life in front of the mat — not a copy of anyone else's practice.

Stories

Real journeys.
Real transformation.

Started with irregular cycles and constant fatigue from my thyroid. Six months in, my numbers have stabilised and I've lost weight without a single crash diet. The therapeutic yoga and Ayurveda guidance shifted something my medication alone couldn't.

At 52, with sugar, BP, arthritis and years of digestive trouble, I thought this was just how it stays now. Nikita's gentle sequences worked around my joints, my sugar readings improved, my digestion settled. It's the first thing that has actually held.

Reena, 52 Diabetes · BP · Arthritis

I came to Vrnda feeling puffy, heavy, and unable to stop overeating. Sattvic guidance helped me understand food as medicine. The inflammation has come down, the bloating is gone, and my relationship with eating is finally calm.

Shreeleka, 51 Inflammation · Water retention

Pre-menopause with a stressful career was pushing me to the edge. The nervous-system focus — breathwork, restorative yoga, sound sessions — has been the reset I didn't know I needed. Cholesterol down, sleep back, mind quieter.

Shabri, 46 Pre-menopause · Cholesterol · Stress

After my second pregnancy, my body just wasn't returning to itself. Weight held on, cholesterol crept up, everything felt swollen. The therapeutic approach here — slow, personalised — helped me heal at my own pace, without pressure.

Apurva, 38 Post-pregnancy · Cholesterol

PCOD and thyroid had been quietly running my life for years. What worked at Vrnda was the combination — yoga for the movement, Ayurveda for the food, breathwork for the anxiety. Cycles are regular now. First time I feel in charge of my body.
