About

My story.

A quiet turn away from doing more — and a slow return to what the body was asking for all along.

A quiet desk workspace, before the mat
The Beginning

Before the mat, there was the desk.

For years, my rhythm was set by inboxes and deadlines. I built a career I was proud of — but the pace it required began to cost more than it gave back. Sleep suffered. Attention frayed. The body kept sending signals I had learned to ignore.

Yoga arrived quietly at first — not as ambition, but as a way to hear the body again. One class became a habit. The habit became a question I couldn't put down.

Rishikesh, 500 Hours

Learning where yoga was born.

I trained for 500 hours in Rishikesh — the mornings on the mat, the afternoons in philosophy and anatomy, the evenings by the river. It was the first time I understood yoga as a system rather than a sequence.

Breathwork, meditation, Ayurvedic principles, the classical texts — all of it changed how I moved through a day. Not just how I taught, but how I lived.

Purpose

Why Vrnda exists.

Vrnda was built for the person I used to be — capable, exhausted, and quietly looking for a way back to themselves that didn't demand more discipline, more optimisation, more effort.

The practice you find here is what I wish I had found sooner. Small, careful, therapeutic. Rooted in classical wisdom — shaped for the life you actually lead.
